There are two public bars, originally, the premises was an inn and catered for the needs of travelers using the old coach road from Dublin to the north of the country. Today, much of the original structure remains and has been merged with later renovations. Without doubt, the centrepiece of attraction is the archway that divides the lounge area in two. The archway and much of the accompanying wall, remains from the early building and its purpose was to allow coaches to pass through into the interior yard from the old roadway that runs beside the premises. A wide range of food and beverages is served in the bar areas.
The lunch trade is always brisk and a carvery service operates at weekends. A breakfast service is available for the general public as well as for overnight patrons of the motel.
